Work: Sayida in Mint Chocolate Glam

Happy Eid-el Fitri Everyone!!!

Meet Sayida, my dear friend and one of the best things about my NYSC year. While she was in town a few weeks ago we decided to do some Arab inspired makeup looks. Her Fulani features were an absolute delight to work with. This is the 1st of 2 looks we choose to create so watch out for the 2nd one

Sayida’s first look is inspired by the mint green and brown leopard print scarf she’s wearing.

If you have very dry lips its possible that matte lipstick is not for you. Sad but its true, matte lipstick is by definition more drying than other formulas. That said some matte lipsticks are more drying than others so you may have better luck with other formulas. You can use lipgloss on matte lipstick but that will change the matte finish to a glossy finish, also the lipstick will not last as long with gloss over it as it will without.

    Hope this helps
