– More Product reviews(My suggestion is write to various companies telling them what you want to do,Traffic to ur Blog et al,just like You-Tube experts do). That way,you dont have to spend so much doing product reviews. It could be anything from Brush Reviews,To Book Reviews et al.I'm sure there are many brands willing to give you a few products free for reviews.
– My 2nd suggestion is that i would be happy to see you Transform the faces of regular women as well as you do urs.People presume Makeup enthusiasts' talents ends when they apply just on their faces.Show everyone u are more than talented.

What I like about your blog is that you talk about makeup products which arent big in the US, such as Sleek which I am a huge fan of. I also like that your pictures are of good quality. One thing that I would change is your blog layout, I remembered the first time I read your blog, I was like her blog is so good and informative, but the layout is so boring. It doesn't grab my attention. One suggestion I have would be to use a solid background color with some of your makeup looks at the top left and right hand corners.You can also add some color in certain areas with pictures of the products you use. Make the blog be more personable, it should scream Stella!!!

You know I love Stella's addiction! I love your blog layout, I love the slideshow below the header, I dont think you should take that out. Ive actually tried to steal some ideas from your layour, and it worked! I love the quality of your pictures, lovely!
You can improve Stella's Addiction by adding vlogs. I would like to hear you speak and watch as you apply make-up. I don't think its enough you telling what you applied to where…you need to show HOW! You should consider creating competitions, that way you would get more comments. Giveaways should be often as well, maybe once a month, that improves followership. Also follow some of your followers like me :), its a way to creating Blogger Bonds. Reply comments often too 🙂

Hi Stella, Congrats once again.
I love Stella's addiction for a couple of reasons:
1. it was one of the first makeup blogs i discovered by a Nigerian, using products we could find in Nigeria.
2. It helped start me on my journey into becoming a professional makeup artist
3. The reviews on Sleek products are out of this world (i think this is very essential especially as that is where u started from)
4. The FOTDs are very explanatory and the pictures are very nice, clear and clean.
5. The layout of the blog is one of the nicest i have seen so far. Most of the others only focus on the information they are passing across and dont bother about aesthetics.
6. Your love for Sam Fine.
7. Your reviews on makeup shows
8. i love the fact that u dont hoard any knowledge you get, you always share with others and a good example is the recent IMATS show you went for. You gave extensive summaries of all the seminars and even with pictures. Im sure a lot of us really appreciated it (even Ren took a cue from your blog and replicated the pics of Sam Fine's makeover that you posted. Funmi Irantiola did the same)
My suggestions for improvement are:
1. I totally agree that you should start dong vlogs ASAP cos as far as im concerned you have gone way past just posting pictures (you can take a cue from The Fancy Face, she only does vlogs of the most popular of her looks especially when there have been a lot of comments on them and requests)or even step by step picture tutorials on how your looks were achieved.
2. More real life makeovers i.e. makeovers on other people
3. We would appreciate if you can give us dupes for some of the products you use as we may not be able to get the ones you use in all your looks.
4. Most of your looks are for everyday wear, can we have some really outrageous looks once in a while, fantasy makeup etc? it would be really nice

First of all, your blog rocks, I enjoy makeup looks and the products you use. Sleek is a nice brand, haven't seen it here in the states yet.
a)To better your blog, my honest opinion would be for you to try and respond to your readers, most times, we comment and I don't see a feedback…:=(
b)Try and give some makeup tips, for others as well, you do a great job on your face but sometimes what may work for ya might not for others…:=)

*I think you should do video tutorials.
*The beauty of being a part of blogger is socializing with the bloggers as well. I hardly see your footprints on other blogs.
*Also I think making your pictures bigger with a more neutral layout would help make the pictures pop and make them the focus of the posts.

ok things i fink should be improved include:
pls use models in different skin tones and shades
it'd be nice if you can write alternative brands that can be used to achieve looks similar to those you do. eg, i used black opal in hazelnut but you can also use Mary kay 607, mac nc50, iman earth 2…
and do more product reviews and include stockists in Nigeria and around d world

1- What do U like about Stella’s addiction
Well I don’t like it…I LOVE it! This blog helps me in many fields! I’m a beauty and fashion addict but as a young black women I couldn’t recognize myself in some other blogs because I couldn’t reproduce their makeup or their advice wasn’t good for my skin complexion…and Eventually I found U! And this blog taught me a lot! For example, I bought my first blush 2 months ago and I rely on ur posts to choose the colour! I wasn’t a blush lady because I couldn’t find the right colour by myself…and thx to U now I can say I know which colors fit black women! Relying on your pics I’ve also learnt how to rock bold lip colours I’ve always want to try but it was hard for me to dare :s I was afraid of looking a mess! This is why I love this blog! Because it represents black beauty glamourously!
2- A few suggestions…
I’m not pretending to know what every girls would like to see so I’m just gonna tell U what I would like to see.
– Interviewing a random young woman would be a great idea! Questions like her beauty routine, products she likes best, what her fashion style is, and what “feeling beautiful” means to her!
– More outfits of the day, nail colour of the day, makeup of the day, and even fragrance of the day or why not “feeling of the day” practically everything of the day lol
– A review about ur “beauty fail”. I mean which products didn’t work at all for U and why! Like that it could prevent other women with the same complexion that U have from wasting their money lol
– And last but not least a review about drugstore dupes for expensive professional makeup would be a great idea too!

you really got a nice blog here.
i really enjoyed your look library – nice pictures, great explanations. also i liked reviews – love reviews which are not just text because i am lazy to read sometimes (shame on me) so i like the way you illustrated them. Also I liked that article about eyebrows – informative, not too long, good example pictures.
The suggestions:
How about the header? That permanent one (your eyes) – looks nice, even it seems it’s not aligned very well. Don’t really like part of header with slide shows – I guess, you want to put some biggest news of your blog in that part of the header, so everybody who just hops in could see most important things, but sometimes it’s better to leave it simple (or at least improve that so the pictures on the slides so it wouldn’t be stretched) . your swirly background is nice and classy, so it would be great that the rest of design would match that.
Like I’ve said I really like your look library. How about doing some video tutorials? As I see all of us readers would like that. You do really amazing make-ups, great pictures, but the video would really help for all of us who are not that great at make ups. If not video then at least step by step pictures as in all of your picture you are already wearing makeup.
Also it would be nice to see you doing make up on other people. I mean you are generally good looking woman, so I guess with or without make up you look nice. So it would be great to see how one or another look looks on other person.
About post suggestions – I really would like to see more articles giving some tips (like the one about eyebrows). It’s really helpful.
Also I would like you to interact with your readers more. Giving a feedback on comments is a must I guess. But there are other different ways to communicates with your readers too. Like you know after posting something just asking your readers what they think about that (or more exact question), so everyone would feel you are asking that question personally to her (you know that Oscar Red Carpet Favorites – it would be nice to read at the end „and what‘s your favorite“ as you listed your favorite) or etc.

Q1: I like your blog because its entertaining and instructional. Your blog motivates me to try various make-up looks as well as provides me with information on the best products to use.
Q2: My one suggestion is to make your posts a little more simple. The present content is fine for make-up professionals but a little too-technical for "lay" folk like me. If you would do simple and less complex make-up looks, I believe that even more women would be encouraged to try your looks out.

The fact that it is an inspiration to intending make up artists like me. I have always been fascinated by the art of makeup since I was a kid. Recently I have been wanting to take it to the next level but I was cold about it till I saw Your blog.
I am also fascinated with your art. I
like the fact that you use a wide range of cosmetics ..both the expensive and reasonably priced makeup brands that can be found in Nigeria.
The fact that you are very open about the products you use and the technique used in applying them is amazing.
Your blog layout is beautiful. I love the fact that you can navigate easily with the help of the tags and pages.
B) What I want to see?
I would love if you can offer insights on bridal makeup techniques. I noticed that you do not have enough post that dwell on this.
I would also love you to explain the makeup techniques used for pictorials, that is the secret to applying flawless makeup for both magazine photo shoots and also how to apply makeup that will look flawless in pictures.
It would be amazing if you can perform makeup looks and techniques on women with different skin tones. Explaining how to apply artificial eye lashes and the different types of makeup brushes and how they are used will be highly appreciated.
Using videos to explain your makeup techniques will not be a bad idea. Some makeup looks are better understood when they are explained via Videos.
All in all as a self confessed makeup junkie I am glad that I have found the DEALER that will give me my fix. Your blog is the real deal.

I come here often to see your make up and the products and i think you are talented. Congrats girls and i wish you many more years.
Personally, i'd like to see facial products that would give one a blemish free skin so the make up would make more sense. Make up on blemish ridden skin is terrible and you do have a beautiful skin. Once in a while, review a facial product or products.
