Red & Gold (couldn’t find a more interesting name for it)

Before I proceed with details of this look, let me start by saying that I’m not exactly loving it. Its one of those ensembles that look good in your head but you try it and you’r like “Oh”. I like the shimmery shade I started out with but think it might have done better with a darker color in the outer corner.

Base:

I’m wearing New skin revive liquid foundation in Sepia, set with translucent loose powder in Dark. For highlight I used superior pressed powder in biscuit and for contour dark powder form the dark contour kit and blush in Coral, all from Sleek Make up.
Eyes:
My brows are filled in with the brown brow pencil from Sleek, on my brow bone I have on a layer NW 43 concealer from Mac set with superior pressed powder in biscuit.
On my eyelids I’m wearing eye shadow from the sleek Sunset palette. 1st a shimmery gold (3rd from the right lower row) in the inner corner, followed with the shimmery bronze (4th from the right lower row) and the red shade (5th from the right upper row) in the outer corner and in my crease, its also extended a little over my crease. To blend the red out into the brow highlight I used a crease brush and the burgundy shade from the same palette (1st from the left on the lower row).

Black liquid liner from Eve Pearl to line my upper eyelid and Sleek twist up eyeliner in midnight on my waterline. I lined my lower eyelid with the same red and shimmery gold as above.

I finished off the look with a random pair of lashes  from a Chinese brand (I can’t pronounce) which I got at the market and mascara from Yves Rocher in noir (black).
Lips:
As you can see I went super nude in the lip department. Lined with bare lip liner and filled with true color lipstick in Fawn all from Sleek Make up.

What do you think?
let me know Chicas…

    Hey girl, I actually like the look…and makes your eyes pop without looking overbearing…fresh and fruity…I'm a novice at make-up and just happened to stumble upon your blog…and who knows, I may actually start to feed into your addiction! Slowly but surely I am developing a minor fetish for nail polish colors…hopefully I will begin to perfect this eye makeup game…I see you are a firm believer in sleek (aww do I need to buy new make-up???) will keep surfing through your looks…

    Thanks dear, I'm glad you like my blog!
    Do you need to buy new make up? probably not. You might have other products that can produce the same or similar effects.
    I'm a strong believer in beauty on a budget; you don't need to break bank to look good, Sleek has good products at affordable prices plus I started out selling Sleek so a great majority of my collection is from them.
    Please feel free request tutorials or advice any time
