Product Review: Studio Makeup Brow Perfection Pencil

If you follow me on Instagram (which you should by the way ;P) you’ll know that I recently received some press samples from Taries World . Of the lot, the 1st product I tried was the Brow Perfection Pencil from Studio Makeup.

The Brow Perfection Pencil from Studio Makeup is a double sided brow pencil. On one end is the brow pencil and on the other is a spooly. Both ends come with covers so they stay clean even in the messiest of makeup bags. They are available in 4 shades, I was sent the darkest 04 Deep Brown; a dark coffee brown shade.

Brow Perfection Pencil in Deep Dark went well with my NW 45/Bronze 708 skin, it is on the dark side though so if you are lighter than me, you might want to check the lighter shades. I like the texture of this pencil, its soft enough for good colour pay off and hard enough so you don’t run out of product in a day. I did however experience some shine on my brows ( and the rest of my face) in the course of the day. I recommend dusting your brows with translucent powder to help keep the shine at bay.

Studio Makeup Brow perfection pencil retails for N1,800, available at Taries World and from her beauty reps. At N1,800 the pencil is about twice the price of drug store brands like Sleek Makeup but still half the price of high end brands like MAC.
