Product Review: FOREO Luna Mini

Introducing the LUNA Mini by Swedish brand FOREO. Following the success of the Luna in Europe,
US and Asia, FOREO is set to lunch the Luna mini in Africa and they are starting right here in Nigeria.

Luna mini is a face cleansing device with a difference. Gentle and efficient, here is how it works;
“T-Sonic™ technology – a radical new approach to cleansing that is both deeper and gentler at the same time. By channeling transdermal sonic pulsations across the skin’s surface, the LUNA™ mini will transform the look and feel of the skin within just 3 days. It works by cleaning pores of impurities to reduce the causes of blemishes, while smoothing and refining your skin’s texture.”

The Luna mini has 3 different cleansing zones, each for different skin types or areas.
The Luna mini has a water proof charging point in the back which connects to a USB charger. I connected mine to my laptop and in an hour it was fully charged and ready to go. Whats more, a fully charged battery is said to last 300 washes yes you read right 300 washes. If you cleanse your face morning and night as recommended that means 1 charge will last up to 5 months! I’ve had mine for about 2 months and since the initial charge haven’t needed to recharge it yet.
USB Charger
Foreo will be launching the Luna mini at COSMEX next month. Sacred Beauty run by Lola Maja has also signed up as their first stockist in Nigeria, the Luna line will be available at her spa from April 1st. Lola will also be offering a special Luna facial using the Luna pro range.

The Luna Mini is set to retail in Nigeria for N32,000. More affordable compared other cleansing devices on the market especially considering the fact that it is a one time expense, no brush head replacements needed!

The Luna mini is small and handy, fits in the palm of my hand. Traveling with it will be a braze as it fits everywhere…It’s shaped like a large pebble and it’s rounded edge makes it easy to get to difficult areas. Instead of bristles (as in other cleansing devices) the Luna mini uses silicone covered touch points for a gentler cleanse. It comes in a cute clear acrylic box that mimics the shape of the Luna mini with an extended base that houses the charger. Very pretty presentation (if you know me you now I like a good presentation), I got excited when I opened mine, think it will make for a nice gift too.
How To Use
The Luna mini is a great cleansing device. It does more than just clean your face and I love how much smoother my face felt after the very 1st wash! The long lasting battery is another plus, I’ve been using mine for 2 months since the initial charge and its still going strong. I would recommend this to anyone especially if you have sensitive skin, the Luna mini is very gentle.

    I know, but so far I'd say its worth the investment. Also because its a one tie expense…you don't need to replace any parts and you can use it with your regular skin care products

    I've wanted something like this or the Clarasonic for ages. I guess my question would be does it dry quickly? I'm asking because of the nobbly bits, is it the sort of thing that could eventually get moldy (or dark spots on it) because of our humid environment?
