Happy Valentine’s Day!!!
Love is in the air (yeah I said it LOL), in the spirit of valentine’s day I thought to share this pretty nail art design I’m currently rocking (and loving ;D). Its been a minute since my last nail art design but when my order of coloured acrylic powders form Tammy Tailor arrive I just had to.
This design is my 1st attempt at 3D nail art design, this was so much fun, I will definitely be doing more soon…
For these nails I used nail prep products (primer & dehydrator), nail glue and clear nail tips from Peggy Sage Paris, Xtra Cover French Pink acrylic powder from Tammy Tailor, white acrylic powder & acrylic liquid from Star Nails, Swarovski crystals, UV builder gel & gel top coat.
1st I prepped my nails: filed and dehydrated the nail surface then applied a nail primer.
Then I applied the clear nail tips and filed them to shape, for this design I went for almond shapes.
Covered the nail tips and my nail bed with Xtra Cover Pink acrylic powder…
File and buff to shape and coat with UV gel top coat then cure 2mins in a UV lamp.
Once the base was done, I sculpted white flowers on my ring finger, petal by petal then using builder gel as a base applied the crystals and cured my nails in a UV lamp for 2 mins to seal them in place.
I’ve tried a number of nail designs in my time and received compliments for them but these have almost everyone asking why I don’t do these professionally *blush*. Even “oga at the top” stops to stare at them 😉
