I am now a proud member of MAC pro! Yay!!!
To celebrate this very memorable occasion I treated my self to my very first MAC haul 🙂
I got three pigments, a pair of lashes, mixing medium, mineralize blush, studio tech foundation and a grease stick. I went in, looked around and picked things that caught my eye. I tried of course to be good, they have so much cool stuff. I felt like a kid I a candy store! I will definitely be going back…soon!
From MAC I got
Just 8 items I did good right?
Cream foundation that gives really good coverage. I don’t advice anyone with oily skin to get it though because as you will see in my next post it make oily skin get shinny very quickly. This is the only item I regret buying.
I have been using home made mixing medium for a while but I decided to get the real thing just to see if I was missing out on something.
3. Grape:
This is a beautiful sparkly purple pigment.
4. Burnt burgundy:
A matte dark burgundy shade I have lusted after since I saw it in a tutorial on Youtube, i think it might be a pro pigment.
5. Blue Steel:
A metal turquoise with shimmery gold specs in it. It is soo pretty this picture isn’t doing it justice.
6. Grease stick
This is a really dark “almost black” purple shade. I think it will work well to create a smoky eye of cut crease look.
#7 lashes
Nice lashes they stand out but not in an overly obvious way.
8. Mineralize Blush in Love thing
A dark pink shade with gold shimmer in it. All y bushes to date are matte so this will be new!
In Sephora I was hoping to get the limited edition Urban decay Alice I Wonderland book of shadows. It looked nice and for 40 euros it is was a good deal for 16 eye shadows, a mini eye shadow primer potion and two mini pencils. I was too late though, as I was informed in the 4th Sephora I tried. They are now only available from resellers charging a double for it, so I will be patient and wait for the next one.
Instead I got Urban Decay’s new eye shadow primer potion in “Sin”, liquid liner pen from Black Up and Madame eau de parfun from Jean Paul Gautier with which I got cute make up samples (eye shadow in “black must have and lip gloss).
Up|Eyeliner from Black Up in peacock blue:
A highly pigmented longwearing precision pen. It stays on until you clean it off and even then with out alcohol it doesn’t go off in a hurry. Good stuff
Eye shadow Primer Potion in Sin from Urban Decay
Urban Decay EPP is great for securing your eye make up. The new formula has a sheer gold shimmery finish unlike cream matte finish of the original one. It also comes with the tilted sponge applicator the new original formula now sports. Will let you know if it works as well…
The rest are Make Up samples from Jean Paul Gautier:
I got eye shadow in “black must have” and two nameless shades of mini lip gloss in and orange and redish tint. The glosses smell really nice, like candy (it doesn’t taste good though), and leaves a little hint of the color on the lips.
“Black must have”
Blach eye shadow with a silver specs. ot has a very smooth feel to it and comes on as a smokey black.

I am quite pleased with these new additions to my collection and as I am sure you can imagine can’t wait to create looks with them!
