Introducing the world’s cheapest matifying primer!
Yes, it is the same one you’d drink for tummy upset 😉
On twitter one fine evening in December last year I caught on to a conversation between Sam Fine and one of his followers. His follower wanted to know what he could use to keep makeup on in extreme conditions (like make up for a festival). Mr Fine told him he could use milk of magnesia or even clear deodorant!
Did you just gasp? Allow me to respond in the same way he did “Well it worked for Monique at the Golden Globes!” Think about it “anti-persperant”…

Verdict:
I used the one from Phillips (pictured above).
It’s a white liquid (but you probably already knew that) that leaves an white-ish layer on your skin and some tightness. You should let it dry before covering it with foundation. I avoid the corners of my nose because the tightness is uncomfortable there.
It definitely works well as a matifying primer, I have been using it on and off since december 2010. It also helps keep your foundation on all day.
DO NOT USE alone. This is not a “primer” that can be worm without foundation because the white-ish layer is very visible!

Disclaimer: If you want to try this, please bear in mind that my experience may not be the same as yours. As with any new skin product please pay attention to your skin during your trial and discontinue if you notice any unwanted results.
Have you discovered any “out of the box” face primers? Do tell 🙂

PRETTY K!!!
i discovered this sometime last year & it works like a dream.issue wt it,is that areas u put it might be difficult to blend,so avoid areas around the eyes & edges of the nose(like u said). it also applies well, when a few drops is combined wt ur moisturizer.bt like u knw, there's no hard & fast rule to using makeup.Enjoy & thanks for sharing!
