House of Tara Beauty Bruncheon

Last week, House of Tara hosted The Beauty Bruncheon at Hotel Bon Voyage. It was a fun event and a great networking opportunity with practically everyone in the Nigerian beauty industry in attendance. Also in present were several members of the press and lifestyle entrepreneurs. I course was there as I happily fall into all of the categories above 😉

In her speech Tara encouraged makeup artists to “converse and collaborate” working hand in hand and mentoring, insisting that the sky is big enough for all of us. I couldn’t have said it better myself, it’s really unfortunate when makeup artist regard other artists as competition as opposed to colleagues.

She also recognised the accomplishments of Bimpe Onakoya; Creative Director Mabylline NY in Nigeria and Love Olaleye; winner of the Face to face competition by The Makeup Show.
