The 2017 Golden Glob award took place on Sunday. As always while everyone was looking forward to the award to see who would win what, I was more interested in who would rock the sexiest smokey eye of all time LOL.

Here are some of my favourite makeup looks from the red carpet PLUS some of the inside scoop on how their amazing artists created theses looks…I know, I know and yes you are welcome…x

First up and my all time fav from the evening; Janelle Monae paired her embellishes textured undo with a soft brown lids, pale glossy lips, and fluttery lashes. To get the look, her makeup artist Jessica Smalls (@jessicapsmalls) applied TruNaked Eyeshadow Palettes in Nudes and Colorlicious Lipstick in Delicious, both by Covergirl.

For Viola Davis‘s Golden Globes look, her makeup artists Autumn Moultrie drew inspiration from her nails by Julie K (@julieknailsnyc) with Leggy legend polish by Essie. The same coppery tones are seen on her eye with fluttery lashes, gorgeous dewy skin and a glossy natural lip.
