FOTD: Nigeria is 50!

In honor of Nigeria’s 50th, I decided to do a look using her national colors color; green. Its a dramatic look but still wearable (at least for me ;-). Here’s the break down…

Base:
I’m wearing  liquid foundation in Barbados from Young blood cosmetics, set with MAC studio fix in NW45. On my cheeks Sheer cover blush in flushed from Sleek make up.

Eyes:

Filled my brows with the Penultimate brow marker from MAC and highlighted my brow bone with Pearl 406 from Inglot. On my eyelids I started with NYX Jumbo pencil in Milk, them three shades of green from the Sleek Safari and Storm palettes. Yves Rocher liquid liner on my lids and Twist up eyeliner in Midnight on my waterline with the green eye shadows used above on my lower lid.  Finally No.747 S lashes from Moda and Bourjois 1001 cils mascara.

Lips:

I lined and filled my lips with Twist up lip pencil in Currant and covered that with Shimmer glaze lip gloss in Forbidden fruit, both from Sleek Make up.

Happy Independence day Nigeria!

Its ok. It covers well and has a "dewy" finish.
Their shade range is quite limited for darker skin tones though. Barbados is their darkest shade and its a bit too light for me. I ended up giving it to a friend.
