Depotting Urban Decay Book of Shadows III

Urban decay makes really good eye shadows, the packaging however is often quite bulky. I really liked the NYC palette because its pretty and all but it can’t fit in my makeup storage unit 🙁

 Introducing my simple solution; Depotting 🙂

The good news, is that the palette is almost completely made of carton so all you really need to do is carefully tear your way through. No heat or skill required 😀

First tear the base of the palette

Then the top

At this point you can start taking the pans out…carefully!

Almost done…

Done! Depotted Urban Decay eye shadows in the Make Up For Ever Magnetic palette.
